Black Ops 7 Season 2 Maps

Black Ops 7 Season 2 Maps Explained in Detail.

Black Ops 7 Season 2 is live, bringing a wide range of new, remastered, and returning maps across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone modes. These maps focus on better balance, improved flow, and more variety, giving players fresh strategies and new ways to experience every mode.

In this article, we’ll take a closer look at all the Black Ops 7 Season 2 maps and what they bring to each mode.

Multiplayer Map

Black Ops 7 Season 2 Multiplayer introduces a mix of new and remastered maps. Initially, four new maps were added, where two of them are small-sized, and the other two are medium-sized. The maps will be rolled out in two phases: the first phase brings four maps at the start of the season, while the second phase will introduce five more maps in the mid-season update.

At launch, players received Torment, Nexus, Sake, and Slums. Later in the mid-season update, Torque, CliffTown, Mission Peak, Grind, and Firing Range will join the lineup.

In this post, we’ll focus specifically on the maps that have already been released.

Torment

Torment is a new 6v6, small-sized map where strange tendrils have spread everywhere, and blood falls from the sky. Victoria Atwood is at work, attempting to extract C-Link data and create this map using David Mason’s memories and fears. Shipping containers and Guild crates hang suspended in the air, tangled in sprawling roots. There are also glimpses of a chemical lab and quarantine signs, hinting that something dangerous happened here.

Players can climb the Bloodfalls to enter a portal that leads to the Basin, a blood-covered arena. From there, more portals connect to different parts of the map, offering opportunities to flank enemies or ambush them from unexpected angles.

Nexus is a 6v6/2v2 small-sized map based on David Mason’s hallucination where Victoria Atwood tortures Mason’s mind to extract his C-Link data in a freezing testing facility. In here, TVs showing a red static signal are stuck in the ice, creating a strange and disturbing environment.

Players can explore the cells where prisoners are kept or move through the tunnel and mines that lead into the underground facility. The map is almost symmetrical, with an outer path that loops around the central area. You can use available routes to move between the center and the outer loop, attacking enemies along the way

Sake

This 6v6 mid-sized map takes place in a Japanese sake factory. The map features a Production Facility, a Depot, and a Steaming room. Players can also see displays about the Brewing process, an Exhibit area, and a Bar upstairs.

Different parts of the factory are spread across open grounds, including a Loading Dock, a Zen Garden, and a Roundabout entryway. These areas create multiple fight zones across the map. Pay attention to where the action is happening and move in to take control. Use your intel to find the hot zones and move in to take control.

Slums

A remastered 6v6 mid-sized map from Black Ops 2. Players can fight around the central Plaza, one of the most well-known map locations in the Black Ops series. Next to the famous Electronics chokepoint, which offers cover in a tight area at a meeting point between the middle and bottom lanes.

You can battle across Upper Street and Lower Street or move through the top lane to surprise enemies from the Garage and Shops. Loved by both casual and competitive players, Slums is a map that tests your skills no matter how you play.

Zombies Maps

At the start of Season 02, there is only one Zombies map available to launch, “Mars,” a new survival map. A second map will be added later in the season.

An ancient temple buried in the alien sands of the Red Planet, Mars, where you will fight waves of cosmic cannibals. The map takes place in the Astra Malorum boss arena, where your main goal is to survive as long as possible.

You’ll find useful machines like Pack-a-Punch, Der Wunderfizz, and the Mystery Box with a chance to get the LGM-1 Wonder Weapon, along with Wall Buys. In higher rounds, Uber Klaus may also appear to make things more challenging.

As you survive longer, you can unlock these rewards:

“Decaying Orbit” Animated Emblem + 1,000 XP – Reach Round 10.

“Phase 5” Weapon Charm + 2,500 XP – Reach Round 25.

“Gift Card” Ultra GobbleGum + 5,000 XP – Reach Round 50.

Warzone Maps

In Black Ops 7 Season 2, Warzone’s existing maps have been updated, and one new map will be added later in the season.

Rebirth Island Winter Refresh.

Season 02 of Call of Duty: Warzone™ kicks off with a winter update for Rebirth Island. It is a seasonal update to the similar Rebirth Island map. The island is now under Guild control, and NOVA 7’s chemical operations have reshaped the landscape, adding new buildings, secret areas, and plenty of surprises to explore. The map features a significant update.

Major POIs and updates.

New Point of Interest Turbine: The biggest addition to Rebirth Island’s Winter Refresh is the Turbine POI, a massive sulfur-processing facility on the north shore. Developed by the Guild Force, it is located west of Industries, east of the dock, and north of Prison.

The area includes large exterior platforms and a concrete bay with a huge sulfur vat and a wall of NOV 7 canisters. Beneath the vat, a small windowless control room can be accessed by activating the door controls.

The main building is connected by a gantry and houses a hexagonal Sulfur-Extraction chamber dominated by a massive turbine at its center. Multiple entrances and exits at different heights make the area ideal for fast-paced fights.

The previous waterlogged bunker has been filled in, as the Guild now focuses entirely on sulfur extraction in this location.

Unmarked POI: Outpost: The Outpost is an unmarked POI situated east of Stronghold and southwest of Living Quarters. Once an open hillside, it now offers better loot, cover, and movement options. A jetty with three docking bays provides cover and rotation, while a raised cargo bay and a SAM battery on the slope give opportunities for vertical combat. Above a locked bunker, the Comms building with a prototype laser cannon and radar dish provides a strong defensive advantage.

Renovated POIs: Five key areas—Stronghold, Living Quarters, Factory, Bioweapons, and Industries—have been redesigned to be architecturally brighter and clearer.

The Cleanest Sightlines: Atmospheric fog has been completely removed across the island, and the lighting has been adjusted to provide the sharpest visual clarity seen since the map’s original debut.

Renovated Interiors: For instance, in Bioweapons, every floor except the basement has been updated for better visibility, signalling that new “organic laboratory trials” are underway.

Conclusion

Black Ops 7 Season 2 brings exciting updates across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. With new and remastered maps like Torment, Sake, Nexus, Slums, and Mars, players get fresh layouts, strategic spots, and fun combat experiences. In Warzone, Rebirth Island Winter Refresh with its Turbine and Outpost POIs offers better visuals, redesigned areas, and more chances for tactical gameplay.
